K-pop concert merchandise can be sold in more than one way. A product may be shipped to you, reserved in advance for pickup at the venue, or sold directly at an on-site booth. Those routes can look similar in an app, but they do not necessarily use the same order conditions, pickup steps, or booth.
This guide focuses on past Weverse examples from concerts in Korea. It explains what to check, not a single rule that applies to every K-pop event. Always follow the latest official notice for the concert you are actually attending.
1. Delivery, on-site pickup, and on-site sales are different
Official fact:
Past Weverse notices show that concert merchandise can be offered through different routes. For BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN GOYANG in April 2026, official merchandise could be pre-purchased through Weverse for on-site pickup or purchased directly at an on-site sales booth. The SEVENTEEN DIGITAL CODE re:CAP booth in April 2026 also offered both on-site pickup after a Weverse purchase and direct on-site purchase, although that booth was a special coin-and-capsule format rather than a standard merchandise booth.
The important distinction is the fulfillment route:
- Delivery: the order is shipped according to the product’s delivery terms.
- On-site pickup: you pay in advance and collect the order at the designated event location.
- On-site sale: you buy directly at the venue, subject to stock and booth rules.
Practical tip:
Before paying, confirm which route the exact product uses. Do not assume that an item shown near a concert notice is automatically available for venue pickup.

2. Check the product tag and the official event notice
Official fact:
In the past BTS and SEVENTEEN examples, pickup products were identified inside the relevant Weverse Shop area and the event notice explained how pickup worked. The wording and menu path were specific to those notices.
Practical tip:
Use two checks together:
- the product page or pickup tag for the item you want, and
- the latest official merchandise/booth notice for that event.
Look for the event name, product eligibility, pickup location, operating period, reservation requirement, and any later update. Do not rely on an old screenshot of the app or a guide from another concert.
3. Check conditions and pickup reservation before ordering
Official fact:
The past Weverse cases included event-specific conditions such as where an order could be placed, what payment methods were shown, and whether a pickup time had to be reserved before payment. These values were not the same universal rule for every concert.
Practical tip:
Before completing the order, check:
- Is this item marked for on-site pickup?
- Is a pickup reservation required?
- Is there an event-specific eligibility or location condition?
- Does the payment screen show a method you can actually use?
- Is the selected pickup date and time correct?
If one of these items is unclear, use the event notice rather than assuming that another Weverse event works the same way.
4. Prepare the order QR, reserved time, and exact booth
Official fact:
In the past BTS Goyang and SEVENTEEN re:CAP cases, customers were instructed to check an order QR in their order history and present it at the designated pickup booth at the reserved time.
The merchandise order QR is not the same thing as a concert ticket entry QR. One proves a merchandise order; the other may be used for admission or a ticketing process.
The past SEVENTEEN re:CAP notice also warned users not to share the pickup QR and specifically rejected printouts or screenshots for that event. That screenshot rule should not be generalized to every concert.
Practical tip:
Keep the order QR private and follow the display method required by your event. Before leaving for the venue, confirm the exact booth name and location instead of assuming that every merchandise counter can process your order.
5. Merchandise pickup is separate from concert entry and VIP benefits
Official fact:
The notices used for this guide describe merchandise purchase and pickup. They are separate from ticket admission procedures. VIP packages can also include benefits or items that come from the ticket package rather than a separate merchandise order.
Practical tip:
Ask three separate questions:
- What proves my concert entry?
- What proves my paid merchandise order?
- What proves any VIP benefit included with my ticket?
Keeping those three records separate can prevent you from joining the wrong line or showing the wrong QR.
6. If you are late, miss pickup, or the booth changes
Official fact:
In the past BTS Goyang notice, customers were asked to follow their reserved pickup time, and late arrival could lead to delay or restricted entry depending on on-site conditions. That notice also described cancellation/refund handling for orders not collected during its pickup period.
Those details belong to that event. Do not assume the same late-arrival or refund treatment elsewhere.
A separate SEVENTEEN CARAT LAND notice in June 2026 showed that an on-site pickup booth could be canceled after an earlier plan because of severe weather. The affected pickup orders were then canceled and refunded under that notice.
Practical tip:
Check the latest notice shortly before you leave for the venue, especially if weather or event operations have changed. If you miss your slot or cannot find the booth, look for an updated official notice or ask the designated on-site staff instead of relying on an older schedule.
7. Before leaving and after pickup
Before leaving:
- Confirm whether your order is delivery, on-site pickup, or on-site sale.
- Reopen the latest official event notice.
- Check the exact product and pickup status.
- Confirm the reserved date and time if required.
- Confirm the booth name and location.
- Make sure you can access the order record and required QR.
- Keep the merchandise QR separate from your ticket entry information.
After pickup:
- Check the product name and quantity before leaving the booth.
- Check random-item or sealed-product instructions before opening anything.
- Keep the receipt or order record if the event tells you it is needed for after-sales support.
- Follow the event-specific exchange/refund instructions rather than a rule from another concert.
8. FAQ
Do all K-pop concerts offer on-site pickup?
No. The official examples in this guide show that on-site pickup exists, but availability is event- and product-specific.
Is on-site pickup the same as buying at the booth?
No. Pickup normally starts with an order made in advance, while on-site sales are direct purchases at the venue.
Is the merch QR my concert ticket QR?
No. Treat the merchandise order QR and ticket admission QR as separate credentials.
Should I save a screenshot of the pickup QR?
Do not use screenshots as a universal preparation method. One past SEVENTEEN re:CAP notice specifically rejected screenshots and printouts; other events can use different rules. Follow the current notice.
What if the pickup booth changes or closes?
Check the latest official notice. The June 2026 SEVENTEEN CARAT LAND case shows that booth operations can change after an earlier announcement.
